Growing up the youngest of 7 children reinforces your survival skills at an early age. Always striving to be number 1, making sure I was heard, served me well in my 25 years at Rohm and Hass, later to be known as Dow Industries. A large chemical company, I worked my way up from the floor to becoming the logistics manager at my retirement.

My next endeavor awaited me to grow and manage my wife’s uber career as a successful Realtor and owner of a newly formed Real Estate licensing School. I expanded her one-man army to a team of 3 successful agents, a skilled admin, and myself coordinating and managing the group. Our school’s success floods our office with new agents, many of whom I mentor. I regret not having done this sooner. I do what I love, with the person I love. I’m living the dream!

Thinking back on my work history, it’s been pretty diverse even though my duties have always been similar. No matter what I’ve been hired to do, my overzealous need for perfection have led me down a managerial and administrative path. I enjoyed my first job at a small bookseller franchise and quickly became a valued leader at both of their stores. This led to my position at Staples for the next 16 years as an Operations Manager, ultimately traveling from store to store, training teams in organization, efficiency, customer service and overall daily operations. After taking a few years off raising my children, I interviewed with Nadine Simantov & Company, who had just grown their team and was searching for an Executive Administrative Assistant. Although Real Estate was a foreign language to me, I loved the challenge and quickly took over day to day operations. I understood that working for Nadine wouldn’t be easy, as her reputation had preceded her. But here we are, several years later, a team of 3 in step with one another, which I believe I can take a lot of credit for. This job has blossomed into a career that I never dreamed of for myself, and I can’t wait to see what the future brings!
